Our ultimate goal: equal and direct relationships with cooperatives and/or farmers . We want to give them ownership in the coffee chain and grow together towards climate-proof plantations.

about this coffee

“If we all do a little, we'll all have a better future”, are the words of Ellen herself.

Sarah visited her in May 2023 and her passion and commitment stuck. That is why we are proud and grateful to be able to offer you this beautiful coffee. Ellen is a 5th generation coffee grower in her family, coffee is in her blood.

Yet she says that today she grows in a completely different way than her parents showed her: she intervenes minimally and learned many regenerative agricultural techniques. Of its 100 hectares of land, only 23 ares are cultivated for coffee; she combines bananas, avocados and eucalyptus and a large area of forest with 70,000 trees.

Producers & cooperative

This coffee comes 100% from Ellen Fontana, a dynamic coffee producer who cares about nature. She learned by trial and error, surrounded herself with technical expertise from Capricornio, resulting in excellent quality of her coffee.

Her plantation is one that is far away from the typical Brazilian mass plantations where mono culture is the norm. Surrounded by birds, many trees and other crops, you feel like you are in a Disney movie.
